    Perched ever so perfectly on the beachfront of Kini Bay, a quaint village setting in Nelson Mandela Bay,
    Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, nestles this picturesque
    sea- and beachfront
    establishment with sea facing en-suite bedrooms with sea view, direct access onto the beach,
    onsite braai facilities, secure onsite parking, guest lounges and more.

    Sea Otters Lodge is not a self-catering establishment - there are a dining / lounge area and a kitchenette
    equipped with a microwave oven, fridge/freezer and a prep bowl available on each floor level and
    onsite braai facilities for exclusive use of guests staying at Sea Otters Lodge.

    CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19
    With the coronavirus pandemic declared a state of disaster in South Africa - As long as the state of disaster stays in effect we will postpone confirmed bookings on request on a case to case basis to a future date of stay subject to applicable rates of future date of stay and availability - This postponement is only applicable to confirmed bookings that would like to change the dates of their stay during the state of disaster period in South Africa - No refunds will be made and our standard cancellation policy stays in effect

    * The balance (if any) is payable at least 31 days prior to day of initial arrival unless otherwise noted during the booking process

     
    NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
    * We work on a 1st pay 1st serve basis
    * Regretfully no booking will be secured unless we have received the minimum non-refundable deposit due
    * Minimum 50% non-refundable deposit payment secures the booking, unless otherwise noted
    * Booking for 1 night only: 100% non-refundable deposit payment to secure the booking unless otherwise noted
    * Booking 45 days or less before the date of initial arrival: Full amount (100%) is payable to secure / confirm the booking


    CHILD POLICY - CHILDREN U/12

    * Children staying in their own room will pay the full applicable room rate
    * 1 x Adult + 1 x Child U/12 pay the full applicable room rate
    * 1 x Child U/12 on a single sleeper couch in the same room sharing with 2 x adults from R 250 - R 400 per night


    SINGLE SLEEPER COUCH POLICY
    * Single sleeper couch is reccommended for a Child U/12 years of age only and will only be made available when booked

    * Any person 12 years of age and older that is making use of the single sleeper couch do so at their own risk
    * The single sleeper couch is a couch that folds into a thick single mattress on the floor
    * Maximum 1 x sleeper couch allowed in a room

    BREAKFAST POLICY
    * Breakfast is not included in the room rates and is available as an optional extra to guests during stay SQ
    * We serve a Standard English Breakfast - Consisting of a variety of cereals, milk and coffee/tea from buffet, served cooked breakfast, toast and a glass of fruit juice
    * It is the responsibility of the guest to provide us of any dietary requirements i.e. Halaal and/or Vegetarian prior to day of initial arrival in order for us to source produce

    CANCELLATION POLICY
    * To avoid any misunderstanding, a booking constitutes a binding contract
    * Only written cancellations will be accepted
    * Any cancellation 0 - 30 days before the date of initial arrival / check in - the guest will be liable for payment in full (100%) of the original booking made
    * Any cancellation 31 days or more before day of initial arrival / check in a 50% cacellation fee will be levied on the full value of the original booking made

    * In the event of a no show and/or premature departure the guest will be liable for the full stay of the original booking made, we are not obliged to any refund


    INSURANCE
    * All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out travel insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation
    * We will seek full compensation for any cancelled accommodation booking, including no show and/or premature curtailment
